TorrentKing 101 - FAQ

Below are some explanations on how InfiniTORR TorrentKing works.

The basics

  • The game starts with a seeded pool of funds to set the starting floor price for Peers. (Seeded by team in round 1. Is then seeded by previous rounds there after)

  • When a user enters the game, they can claim some free Peers. (Free Peers are given as Torrents so they can’t be sold right away) (Free Peers are equal to 0.25% contract balance or 1,000,000 BTT worth of Peers, whichever is less) (Free Peers are given out only once)

  • Torrents will seed to Peers at a rate of 1 Peer per day, per Torrent.

  • When you have filled your Server rack with Peers you will stop seeding Torrents.

  • To continue Seeding Torrent you'll need to either snatch your Peers for Torrents or sell your Peers to the market for BTT

  • You may also Burn your Torrents to overthrow the TorrentKing, if you have enough to do so. Doing so will snatch all Peers you may have at the time you overthrown the TorrentKing.

  • Once your Server Rack is cleared, you will continue seeding. Snatch Peers to increase your Torrent count to then seed more.

  • You can also buy Peers from the open market. When bought Peers are added to your Server rack and will start seeding. This won't take up any existing room in your server and won't stop seeding to new peers. (Won't effect production)

Cooldown timer

  • The cooldown is in place to give all users a fair chance when playing.

  • This cooldown maxes out at 6hrs.

  • Users can decrease this timer by buying Peers from the market. The amount decreased, depends on the amount of Peers bought.

  • The cooldown timer will activate when users convert or sell Peers.

  • If you try to Overthrow the TorrentKing, your cooldown will reset to 0 if active. (doesn't include free chances at the jackpot)

Overthrow the TorrentKing

  • 10% of sales from Peers sold is set aside for the jackpot. This jackpot is won by the first person to run down the timer!

  • The jackpot is claimed by burning an amount of Torrents from your Server rack equal to 1% of Total Torrents in Existence (TTiE), adding 1 hour to the timer each burn conducted.

  • The timer will start as soon as the first user triggers a burn of Torrents. This can occur at any time and is basically a self-destruct button for the contract if left to run to zero.

  • Torrents that are disposed of in this fashion are burnt out of existence and reduce the inflation rate of the overall contract.

  • Buying an amount of Peers equal to or more then the number of Torrents needed to overthrow the TorrentKing (1%>TTiE), gets you a Free Chance at the Jackpot!

  • When the jackpot ends, the Contract ends. The remaining contract funds left are split into 4 parts. The 1st part (10%), is used to seed the next round of shrimp. The 2nd part (20%) is sent to the InfiniTORR Vault. The 3rd part (10%) is sent to a Multi-Sig wallet for future funding. The last part (60%) is awarded to the jackpot winner!

Fees and other costs.

  • 10% sales fee on all Peers Sold - Goes to the Jackpot

  • 4% Dev fee on all Peer Buys - Goes to InfiniTORR Dev Team

  • Chain Transaction Fees - Basically zero. Max gas limit is 5700 BTT per transaction.

  • Note general slippage on large sales of Peers. Compared to separated smaller amounts of Peers being bought or sold to tighten up slippage. - Meaning ape sales get less for their Peers.

Ref system

Earn 10% as bonus Torrents straight to your Server Rack whenever someone using your referral, snatches any Peers. You can also earn a bonus 5% just for using a Referral too! Thus, encouraging both the referral and the referee to participate!

The referral bonus is given as Torrents not Peers, so users must then wait and sell Peers they connect over time. Giving all users a fair chance when paired with the cooldown timers.

FAQ

Why buy Peers if I can claim for free?

- Free Peers are a once off event. They are capped at a max value of 1,000,000 BTT. Buying direct from the market gives you the flexibility to choose how many Peers to buy.

Why are free Peers auto converted to Torrents?

- This is used as a deterrent from botting free Peers to instantly dump them and drain the contract.

Why did I not get all the Torrents listed when I snatched my Peers?

- Like real Torrent files, no one wants only part of a file. So when snatching your Peers, you only snatch whole amounts.

I didn't get my Ref bonus, why's that ?

- If you haven't claimed your free Peers at the start of each new round. You won't collect any ref bonuses awarded. You will only receive Ref bonuses after you have claimed your free Peers!

What happens if the game goes for to long ?

- The contract will eventually bug out when it hits an integer limit in code. When this happens, the jackpot timer will run unimpeded by increase’s. This will lead to the timer hitting zero (0) and the last user to overthrow the TorrentKing, will win the jackpot and end the game.
